KHATOD Optoelectronic, from 1982 leader in solutions and components for light transport, has presented the new Optical Cable System, LED Panel Indicator and Based LED Lamps K34 catalogue. The new catalogue introduces a big range of systems and components for the panel luminous signalization, first between all the K-TAB Optical Cable System, that means components and accessories for the optical transmission of the light without electrical wires and voltage.
Optical Cable System solves many important problems connected to: quality, reliability, flexibility, fast and chip solution for mounting, utilization of only 3 codes for a wide range of lights, possibility to use the actual PCB without modifying or changing it, elimination of
connection and/or soldering, transport/receive of every luminous source (visible or invisible). 135°C operating temperature, different shapes and symbols on request. Cold area and without voltage on all panels with ESD protection.Optical Cable System offers many advantages respect to the traditional panel LED-holder, in fact it is easier to assemble LEDs and other components on pcb, to insert lens and support in press-fit and snap-in, to cut the cable at the right length close the system from 10 cm to 250 m.
KPAN Lenses, installed in display panel, are used with PCB mounted LEDs: lenses remain attached to the display or panel door while LEDs are fixed to the PCB.
KPAN Lenses utilize Fresnel rings to increase apparent brightness and viewing angle up to 180 degree. The new assemblies feature a simple universal mounting design that significantly reduces labor and assembly cost.

The 32 pages catalogue includes also Panel Signal LED Lamps. Both the KSPX and KSX Series are offered withoperating voltages from 2V through 48 V, with or without cable, concave and convex lens, bicolor-tricolor and full color, waterproof versions are also available.

The KSPX Plastic Series assemblies are manufactured from flame retardant UL 94V-0 Polycarbonate, lens diameter form 3 to 10 mm, special LEDs on request. The KSX Metal Series assemblies press-fit mount in 6 mm holes (3 mm LED) to 14 mm holes (20 mm LED), with a wide range of dimensions and luminosity. KSX Metal Series standard material is brass CW614N; on request Aluminium AL116, Steel AWP SMnPb28/36, Teflon PTFE, Delrin, CuTe.
